About Village Tattoo Company

Village Tattoo Company is a professional tattoo studio based in London, Ontario. The studio was originally established in 2013 under the name Red Door Tattoo on Richmond Row, and later relocated to Old East Village to build something more permanent, considered, and community-rooted.

Today, the studio operates out of 898 Dundas Street, sharing space with Grow & Bloom Co. The setting reflects how we work — intentional, well-run, and built for long-term practice rather than volume or trend-chasing.

Our Approach

Village Tattoo Company is focused on custom tattoo work done properly.

That means clear communication, realistic expectations, and designs that account for both the body and the long term. We value preparation, technical execution, and an environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions and taking their time.

The studio is appointment-based and operates with clear policies so both clients and artists can work without pressure.

The Studio

Village Tattoo Company is home to artists who work independently while sharing a common standard of professionalism and craft.

Artists at the studio work across a range of styles, including traditional, Japanese, illustrative, black and grey, and fine line tattooing. Each artist maintains their own practice while contributing to a studio culture built around respect — for the work, for the client, and for the trade itself.

Experience & Background

Owner Zach Pero has been tattooing in London since 2004. His background spans multiple styles, with strong foundations in American traditional, neo-traditional, and Japanese tattooing. That grounding informs the studio as a whole — prioritizing structure, longevity, and clarity over short-term trends.
