Shop Policy

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to get tattooed.

  • All procedures require a government-issued photo ID (drivers license, passport, military ID). Absolutely no exceptions!

  • We will NOT tattoo you if you are under the age of 18 even with adult accompaniment.

  • Our shop minimum for tattoos is $100. We accept cash or E-transfer.

  • Village tattoo will not tattoo anyone under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. We reserve the right to refuse service!

  • Due to the possible risks involved, village tattoo will not tattoo women who are pregnant or nursing.

  • We cannot give you price quotes for tattoos over the phone. You must come by the shop for a more accurate price estimate or speak with an artist via e-mail.

  • Children are not allowed to stay for a tattoo procedure. If you have an appointment, please make sure you arrange for childcare ahead of time. As we operate in a small space, we also ask that you do not bring a guest to your appointment,

  • Please be respectful of the environment you are in and others around you.

  • No pets allowed.

  • Lost or stolen gift certificates will not be re-issued. 

 

DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable person to person, no exceptions.

  • Out of respect for our artists, please arrive on time for your tattoo appointment. If you are more than 30 minutes late, you forfeit your deposit.

  • At Village Tattoo, we require a deposit for all appointments. All deposits are applied to the cost of the tattoo and will be used during your final session.

  • For multi-sessions tattoos, a deposit is required for each appointment.

  • We accept deposits via cash or e-transfer.

  • Deposits range from $100-$200 depending on the size of the tattoo and artist preference.

  • In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule, we require at least 48 hours notice for your deposit to re-schedule to a new appointment, otherwise your deposit is forfeited and you will have to leave additional deposit for a new day.

  • Please be aware that some of our artists are booked out months in advance. If you reschedule more than once a fee may apply.

  • No call, no shows will also forfeit their entire deposit.
